Book 16 in short: Father and son

Telemachus reaches the hut. Athena restores Odysseus's own appearance for a moment, and he tells his son who he is. They embrace and weep.

They plan how to deal with the suitors. Telemachus will return to the town, and Odysseus will come later as a beggar. The suitors' ambush has failed.
