Chapter 19: Narrative Resumed by Jim Hawkins: The Garrison in the Stockade

Jim takes up the story again, going back to the moment he left Ben Gunn. He hides while the island is shaken by gunfire, sees the pirate flag flying on the ship, and returns to the stockade at night. He sleeps there. In the morning the loyal men are woken by the sight of a white flag.
