Chapter 4: The Sea-chest

No one in the village will help, so Jim and his mother go back to the inn alone. They open the captain's chest, and the mother counts out only the money that is owed to them. Jim takes an oilskin packet as well. Hearing the pirates coming, they run and hide under a bridge while the men break into the inn.
