Chapter 5: The Last of the Blind Man

The pirates go through the inn and find nothing. They are furious with the blind man, Pew, who leads them. The sound of horses is heard, and the pirates scatter. Pew is trampled by the riders, who are revenue officers, and Jim goes with one of them to find Dr. Livesey.
