Chapter 8: At the Sign of the Spy-glass

Jim meets Silver at his inn, the Spy-glass, and finds him friendly and clever. While they talk, a man whom Jim knows as Black Dog sees Silver and runs away. Silver sends men to catch him and says he has never seen him before. The squire and doctor believe Silver, and so does Jim.
