Book 4: The truce is broken

The gods argue about the war, and Athena makes the Trojan archer Pandarus break the truce by shooting Menelaus, who is only lightly hurt. Agamemnon goes along the lines, encouraging some captains and scolding others. Then the two armies meet and the fighting begins.
