The Iliad is the great Greek poem of the Trojan War, traditionally attributed to the poet Homer. It covers a few weeks in the tenth year of the siege of Troy, from the quarrel between King Agamemnon and the warrior Achilles to the funeral of the Trojan prince Hector.
